Thanks to this program, a significant step was made towards simplifying changing the firmware on Mi, Redmi, Poco, and other Xiaomi devices. Especially inexperienced users for whom unlocking the bootloader, installing drivers, custom recovers, and other similar processes are complex and confusing tasks will be especially happy with this development. However, they are understandable because any deviation from the instructions and incorrect action can lead to the inoperability of the device. In most cases, it can be restored, but it will be a more complicated process than reflashing.

Tips and Tricks

It should be noted that when installing the utility on a computer with Windows 8 or 8.1 operating system installed, you need to be careful – here, you can’t immediately “put” any, including the latest version of Mi Flash Pro. Instead, for the regular operation of the program, you must first install the oldest build, which is in the table (number 3.3.1212.88), and then – reinstall it on the new one. If you neglect this, you may encounter many errors that may occur during the operation of the utility.

It is worth highlighting a few main “features” of the program. Besides a simple firmware change, it can help in other situations and has the following functionality:

• The ability to download firmware for almost every Xiaomi device directly from the utility. A convenient search by model, firmware method, Android version and more.
• Several ways to reflash: SP Flash Tool, Mi Flash. Thus, the utility becomes a universal choice both for devices based on Qualcomm and MediaTek single-chip systems.
• You can do a factory reset of the device even without the installed custom firmware. This is especially helpful if the system starts catching bugs or if you need to reset a forgotten graphics key/password/PIN code, for example.

One of the few disadvantages of the program – is the inability to download the free Russian version because the localization is present only in a few languages (in the authorization menu), and the main interface is only available in English.

Finding Mi Flash Pro in Russian on the Internet is quite difficult. That’s why the most current versions were collected in the handy table above. There are slightly more builds of MiFlashPro, but at the moment, they are considered outdated. You can’t download the program from the official website because it does not have one trivially.
